I said that it would take me about 1 week to finish the last of the changes in my previous journal but I underestimated how much i had left to do. Better to have a good game that takes long rather than a bad game that's done quickly. Well all the bugs have been fumigated and its already up and running on GameJolt at the moment. (The links at the bottom of the page)
So the games called Anyone Out There and its all about this child who was hit by an on coming car and has been in a coma for the past 6 years. Now his parents are considering pulling the plug and he must fight to awake before they do while adventuring through dreamscapes and nightmares. Every single little detail that's presented in each level has a deeper meaning into describing the situation, like how English teachers always see a red curtain as "symbolism for blood and foreshadows the characters later death". Like how the fact that your in an asylum at the start which symbolizes how your trapped in your mental state of mind and the teddy bear showing that your still asleep (here comes the theories on what the ending really means). Also you can clearly see my photography skills through all the screenshots for it, I just like well positioned photos.
But apart from that all the texturing, music, cut scenes and bugs/glitches have been fixed since last time. The game is up and running so check it out the link and play it for yourself, its free! I had loads of fun making it so please support me by at least having a look at the game, thanks.
The game needs some serious light workings- I can't see for shit in that first bit, I got a key and quit because it is literally just black screens.
There is literally an image in the corner that says to right click for flash light
Then perhaps the download bugged for some reason- right clicking does nothing.
Okay, I'd have to look into that, thanks for reporting any issues you found
Okay, nice, I'd start re-polishing it up sometime soon
Alright, shoot me a note or something when it's done
So I've finally gotten around to fixing the flashlight and any errors that people have noticed in the game. So now its the 'F' key to turn the flashlight on/off instead of holding the mouse button and when a new scene is loaded the flashlight is automatically turned on as well. I have also increased the size of the image in the corner telling the user of the controls. Hopefully it shouldn't be too much of a problem now
